At Lake Martin Vascular Clinic we take great pride in managing and treating complex cases. At your first visit you can expect a thorough evaluation, then a duplex scan will be ordered to evaluate your superficial & deep veinous system. When you meet the conservative treatment plans, thermal ablation using laser or radio frequency will be scheduled after obtaining insurance approval.

The thermal ablation treatment will be done in the office. You can expect it to last between 2 and 2.5 hours. If you happen to have bulging superficial veins, we will attempt to use laser therapy to treat the main leaking vein (saphenous, perforator), and during the same session we may use sclerotherapy on the bulging veins. This will ensure the best result. At later sessions we will treat your spider/reticular veins with sclerotherapy to eliminate those tiny veins and there will be a very low chance of recurrence.
